Dear Arts Advocate, The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance is calling on community members and advocates like you to continue the fight to help protect and expand federal funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Amid the disruption of the federal government shutdown that began on October 1, 2025, Congress continues to debate critical legislation, including the Interior Appropriations bill, which determines funding for the NEA and NEH. Weakening amendments could still be introduced that threaten to slash support for these vital agencies. Your voice can help change this. Now more than ever, we need to show lawmakers—and the nation—why the arts and humanities matter. Here’s how you can help: -
